    Has anyone shortened their truck's wheelbase?

    shortened 5 ton My friend got my old M55 took one rear axle moved it forward , put it on a pair of front duece springs and mounted it all up . Then discarded everything else .He moved it forward enough to do away with one of the driveshafts so he can still use a stock shaft for replacement...
