The data-base of tail numbers is over here and I was hunting for a N7XXCH or a N7 blurry blurryCH. The S-61N list is impressive.

It's a good place to grab tail numbers...
Is that tail number N905CH? Nice paint. https://www.airteamimages.com/sikorsky-s-61_N905CH_columbia-helicopters_251016_large.html
Same tail number, different paint scheme. https://www.planespotters.net/photo/1115190/n905ch-construction-helicopters-sikorsky-s-61n-mkii

I joined our local Aviation Museum in the early 90's and one of the privileges was ridiculous close access to the F-117 when it came to Edmonton.
I recall being nervous standing so close to it thinking how "I" had special access. Everyone had special access when it was put on public display...
Since the ground is too hard to plant potatoes, I put an old foamy Corsair back together to pass some time. The brother grabbed my potato cam so here's a couple of minutes of flying so low the landing gear touch.

Stumbled over this link on a fb Cold War Aircraft site and had to share it. Took me an hour to read the great stories tied to the low flying pictures.
Covers a lot of aircraft and even has an Edmonton link with a homegrown boy who loved to push the envelope.
"Sgt. Scratch was born in...
I had to follow this up because I named my kid after guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan who helped kick off the campaign back in the 80's. Stevie Ray's helicopter crashed on August 27th 1990 and my son was born in early October. Momma wanted to come up with a name for the baby but after 5 days of...
Not sure how I missed this one from 2010, thought I read the entire net..doesn't end how you think it would. Doing some "Low Pass" hunts in alphabetical order of hosting countries, found this sassy AB 212 helicopter pass from Austria. Crank up the volume and wake up the family...
Ran across this video from St Baarts. At 1:47 I'd say the Avenger wins the low flyer competition. Some great shots of the Texas Flying Legends.

It's been a tough weekend for the airshow community with the loss of another legend. Marcus Paine.....Rest...
It was real sweet having my little niece the nurse text me this link tonight of the B-52 on a low/fast pass....enjoy. http://worldwarwings.com/this-b-52-fast-and-low-will-send-chills-down-your-spine?a=mk&var=ww2=b52-buzzzz
We're all guessing a bit however it is most likely just one of the roads in the 1.6 million acre Cold Lake Air Weapons range.

It's been used for all kinds of testing and training and is most famous for...
Here's a fun ride over the Boreal forest, not far from Fort Mcmurray. It is Pilots Point of View PPOV in the F105, shot in the 80's by the looks of the quality.
The good music starts after 5:00.

First low pass jet visit from Canada
It's been a long time since we backed Mutt up and posted some low flyers. As punishment, I'm starting over, from the beginning.
This article claims that this is the first visit to Andrews Airforce base by one of our first jets. May 31, 1950.
The area is easy to find on maps and here's a description of how it got it's name. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mach_Loop
The roads in Wales are labelled A so not sure what the M6 reference was about so good catch....learnin' to do!
Let's kick off the airshow schedule with a 360° tour with...
Aye' mate, let's take a rip through Mach Loop in the driver's seat of a Typhoon. Descriptive narrative on every turn from the RAF. Searching "Mach Loop" nets a pile of crazy video.

I searched "formation flying colored smoke" ....clicked 'images'....and ended up in Italy. http://www.italymagazine.com/featured-story/italys-frecce-tricolori-italian-daredevils-skies. There are a few more teams pushing color out the back so that was a fun and colorful hunt...
This is 2 years old so not sure how I missed it. Full sound RF-4 Phantom variant with lots of low passes and insanity throughout...primarily after 4:15.

Since the right half of the map is going to be frozen to the computer for a while, lets add a few videos.
I'm hunting Civil Defence info from the mid 40's to 65'ish and run across a ton of testing/ prooving ground videos like this one.
Everything from the very odd H43A (10:00) , the YC123H...
Don't know how I missed this from June but here is a low fly day at St. Barth's.
Hi-speed, low passes over the hill with Corsair, P-40 and more.......here's the source of the aircraft.

and here are the low flyers from the bottom...
This is just a great video of an air show at the end of World War II.
Shots of a Dakota doing a low-pass glider grab, P-47 low passes, just 10 minutes of cool backed up with era correct tunes.
