    Winch cable lube

    Just looked at the tag on my new HMMWV winch. It calls for Amsoil MPHD http://www.amsoil.com/shop/by-product/other-products/cleaners-and-protectants/heavy-duty-metal-protector/ . I don't know if that's for all the winches but the tag on my HMMWV winch calls for the Amsoil product.

    The military recommends a Amsoil product, it think. There is a tag on the winch line of my new HMMWV winch that tells what they say to use. The winch is not with me at the moment. I'll report back what the tag says.
