Saturday Evening:
Meanwhile, back at the ranch....
We left the museum around 14:00ish and returned to the offroad ranch via a police escorted convoy. I have come to realize that is the only way to travel!!!
Back at the ranch, we had an afternoon to recreate and heavyzee had hauled his HMMWV...
Friday Night:
This was the smallest turn-out I've seen. A bad storm blew through our area Friday, which I believe contributed to the low turn-out. Regardless, I enjoyed seeing old friends and meeting a couple new ones. Here are some pictures from Friday night (March 24, 2017):
Saturday...
I drove past the museum this evening headed to my son's track meet, which happened to be in Bryan. There were a bunch of vehicles already staged around the grounds (tracked and wheeled) and vendors getting set-up. The fun is brewing!!
The weather man says we are in for a storm tomorrow (high...
If anyone buys something from Militarytrucks.com this week, I can bring it to the rally next weekend.

We will leave the offroad ranch at 08:30ish. If you are not camping Friday night but want to be in the convoy Saturday morning, it would be good to arrive at the offroad ranch between 07:45 and 08:00.
Thanks for the heads-up on the street closures.
See you next weekend!
An MV rally and a National Guard exercise! It shouldn't be too hard to combine both events. Bring the Guard out to the off-road ranch so we can drool over their trucks!
Camping at the off-road park will cost $10 per family per night (same as last year). Lincoln (nofearnohope) will collect cash from everyone.
OL AG -- There's no thinking necessary. You need to be there. What if fuzzy needs a CUCV to pull his truck out of the mud?
Attendance is anyone's guess...
There may be a couple people that haven't posted in this thread, and still show-up at the offroad ranch anyway. I've talked to a few MV owners in my area that aren't active on SS, and a couple have expressed an interest in coming. Conversely, plans can change...
I hope you are able to make the rally! It would be great to see you and neat to check out your LMTV in person. But, certainly, put your health first. If this Spring doesn't work, there's always the Fall gathering.
That's great news!
For those that have not yet attended, here's some general information.
We camp at the Brazos Valley Off-Road Ranch (their website >>Camp<<). The gaits will open Friday night, March 24 (nofearnohope will let us know what time). Folks generally filter in all evening and...
