Agreed, I am of the camp that we should do 2 runs a day, not 1 large run, and the first run should be 830-1 or so, then back for lunch, then out again 2-6. But we always seem to get a late start, it's hard to get people moving out of camp any earlier due to families, cooking breakfast, etc. So...

Should I bring scrapple to donate to the cause? Not sure if anyone wants to eat that crap, but it's cheap enough I could provide a couple packages.

That would be cool to see a HMMWV at the rally, never had one there before! I will be arriving Friday afternoon, around 5-6 pm. I doubt I will be the first one there, but if I am I'll figure out something to block off the parking area for us.

I had one of those set up at Rausch Creek in fall 2010. It was HEAVY, and required more than one person to set up without messing up your back. Just warning you.

Would RC allow an enclosed wood stove in the camping area for cooking on? Think: wood stove with a door to load the wood in, flat top, and chimney. Might be an idea to cook on, and provide extra camp heat, without only relying on that **** tiny fire ring of theirs.

I'll be there with my 12 yo daughter. Not sure yet if I'll have an MV by then, but I'm trying. Get there Friday evening and stay until Saturday evening.
