    Yes. The ones sent to Russia were used for cargo, but a lot were also modifed as rocket-launching trucks called "Stalin's Organs". Sent wave after wave of unguided rockets at the Germans.

    Saw this listed on Gunbroker. It's a rare bird - compared to the CCKW, there are only a handful of US-6s left in the states, most of them went over to Russia via Lend-Lease. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=120605973
