I figured it was close . I have a odd situation, in that the power goes from the main out to a sub panel and back from the gen on the same wire. I need to insure I can't back feed utility power to the gen That would be a disaster !!! any suggestions would be appreciated Mike...
Wish I had have #4 but I know I could not pull it through a 1 inch conduit. Just have to live with it

Thanks for the info . My wire to the house is about 50 feet of # 6 4 stranded stranded in a 1 inch conduit , it was existing could not change hope it will be ok
