No, I couldn't tell by looking at it. In fact, I still wasn't sure until I put the defective screw into the second truck. When I started it, it leaked.
The valve is in there, it just doesn't fall out with the spring. As Floridianson said, it is matched to the HH, and you cannot change it. I didn't remove it, just pushed the spring back inside, and put the new "screw" in.

Good point. It actually made a pretty good spray rig. I could have driven up and down the camping/vendor area a couple of times and saved Carnac the money he spent on ant poison.

OK, so I found some answers buried deep in the bowels of TM 9-2910-226-34, and with the answer from Floridianson (thanks) I was able to fix the problem.
