I had never even SEEN a halftrack in person, let alone seen one actually move under its own power until last weekend. Worth the price of admission alone!

Bummer! I'm already missing the big honkin' fire pit at Durhamtown. :(

Since I've bummed a ride, I feel that it is only meet, right, and salutary that I also offer to help out with the MKT in order to "earn my passage". Adam and I can talk trains, and it won't seem like a "chore" at all. :-)

I'm deinitely going to try and make it. I'm afraid I'll probably still be truckless, but I'm working on that. What was I thinking all this time that Uwarrie was further away than it actually is? :oops:
