    It appears that when they redid these trucks they skimped on the primer before painting. Most of that rust damage is just in the "extension" areas on the cowl and hood. While it doesn't look that serious you'd think it was avoidable.

    I've picked up or helped pick up about 20 dueces and all had dead batts so that's not too big a deal. The tires are likely from the CTIS leaking so many would air back up as soon as the trucks were started. Still a lot of unknowns but I think $4k was reasonable for any in decent shape. If I...
