    Rear main seal?

OK. Can fuel still get in the oil with the fdc bypassed?

    Rear main seal?

My fdc is bypassed. If fuel was getting in to the oil and over flowing it I don't think it would be 8 quarts low. I added 8 quarts to hit the full mark on the dip stick. I did let it warm up and checked it 1 minute after shutting down.

    Rear main seal?

I'm guessing I need to replace my rear main seal. I just want to confirm before I get to far along. It's definitely engine oil. It only leaks during and a little after the engine is running. It also leaks a lot. I lost 8 quarts over 160 miles. 1969 m35a2.
