    A comprehensive "how to" thread would be nice. I happen to like my gear vendors OD, but if I could do a tranny swap for less with comparable or better performance I'm in.

    I replaced the 4X4 switch that was bad. It was stuck in, and the light was burnt out. The switch grounds the circuit.

    Is your speedometer working? I had in issue with my cable not engaging the speed sensor. Also, does your 4x4 light come on when you engage 4 wheel drive? If not the 4x4 lockout prevents overdrive operation.
