    You could just get a good old Chevy short block 350...tried and true and parts galore both regular performance and hot-rod.

    I've fitted a 6.2 GM diesel in mine and when I get it all built it will have a 6.5 GEP motor in it with a 700R4 trans. Should move good both on and off road. And it will be turbo also.
