Just go to wallymart and pick out two batts for a Chevy truck or Van. Anything that will start a V8 motor on 12V will work doubled up for 24V. Since your motor is changed I would go for what your motor is. Anything with about 7-800 CCA should do the job IMHO.
Truck looks good. You have some work ahead of you but nothing that can't be fixed. Does the truck have the original transmission or has it been changed? I see someone changed the original shift tower, but it's good that you still have it. I would put it back in if I was going to make it...
nopicsYou know someone had to say it.... :) Congrats on the truck and enjoy. I wish I still had my M211 but I'm a speed guy and 45mph was not my idea of fun on the interstate..... But compaired to the M35 the M211 rode so much nicer.
I think you got a good truck with a good sound modification. I think the price was more than I would be willing to pay for but it sounds like you are happy and that's what matters. I would look into getting on board air installed. It can be done on a V8 engine. This will allow you to rehook...
