    Looked at mule today

    Thank you David B for your input! The mules original design did not require a battery. Akin to a pull start lawn mower the magneto produces the spark to start and and maintain the spark to ignite the fuel. Alternators and Prestolite starters were added later by design to mules for the TOW...
