    Old head gasket ... new head gasket

    How does one determine if they have the old style head gasket or the new style head gasket ... without pulling the heads? Is there a way? I got as creative as I could imagine with a search and couldn't come up with a clear answer. I DID see that the new style gasket can NOT be re-torqued, but...
