    kickdown switch George, I've never seen anything in the manual that shows the kickdown solenoid in the trans but it is in the TH400 manual from GM. One of these days I'll get around to creating a .pdf file I can send out. Kurt

    If you can get the vehicle to a transmission shop they can test the pump output pressure to see if thats the problem. The torque converter connects the engine to the trans and then inputs that power to the pump in the trans. The pressure produced by the pump is what makes the whole enchilada...
