There's nothing I can do with tapatalk's app to create a rules button in their app. However, the rules that everyone can read on the main page are the same ones posted in the news forum that are stickied.

The best way to go about announcing something might be available would be something along the lines of: "There's a well know online auction site that has what you're looking for, there's a member named JohnDoe123 that sells them there or has a listing"

As to letting people know the negatives. That's why we preach that buyers should ALWAYS inspect prior to bidding. Caveat emptor.

Doesn't matter, people just click next. The big yellow banner also gets ignored. Banning gets attention though.

This is actually a great conversation. I honestly do not see an issue with posting up links for buy it nows, IF it's only a buy it now listing. (Not an auction with buy it now) The problem as I see it would be people understanding what kind of ebay link would be appropriate.

I have added a dismissible notice to the site. Now there's absolutely no excuse for it.

Get banned for a week for a link. Do it again, ban for a month I say. Make another account, I'll ban your account forever. I'll also block your IP so you can't even view the site.
