As far as DUKW tour operators there is a big one in FL, one in Philly, the one mentioned in D.C., and another I believe in Chicago. I'm sure DUKWs are great fun, but like the old saying goes 'Jack of all Trades, Master of none'. I don't think a DUKW would be my first choice to run to Lowes...

you can ask whatever you want :) MV magazines are the last place I would look for an MV. Most sellers have no idea of the value of an MV and try to recoup their COSTS. Not the same thing.

Any MV is going to cost $$$. I know there are at least two commercial tour outfits that still operate WWII DUKWs and sell them/have parts. Plus there are LOTS of parts sources. Crappy part is that most of those parts are overseas in Europe. ANY MV is cheaper to buy restored than to...
