    M923A2 Doing 80 MPH!!

Your reply to the police officer, (in the link you posted above) explains why even if we went faster, at night we are still very hard to see and are still a target to so many distracted drivers, or drivers who just don't know what to do. thanks for that.

All I can say is don't read the threat titled "So who has bumped the power on a 6CTA cummins" if you are faint at heart or a supporter or slow speed. :D Some of the things said regarding speed in that thread would make some on this thread flip out.

    M923A2 Doing 80 MPH!!

Both of the options at the bottom of page 27 are great options with a deep 26/32nd tread. The difference is that the G rating is 14-ply with 9,370lb. capacity up to 95psi and the L rating is 20-ply with 11,700lb capacity up to 130 psi... i am still waiting to get the information back from the...

    M923A2 Doing 80 MPH!!

i can respect the replies and the concern with higher speed, but i would like to turn up the engine and since my 5th gear has already been modified and 70 MPH could be a regular hwy speed for me I just want to do it safely. I emailed a Goodyear Tech regarding the 395/85R20 G MV/T i had...

    M923A2 Doing 80 MPH!!

i am interested in this goodyear publication: http://www.goodyear.com/cfmx/web/gov/pdf/military_tire_brochure.pdf i am interested in the G rated 395/85R20 which is rated to 81 MPH @ 95psi. the load capacity being 9370 per tire... this would give me much more piece of mind at 65-70mph...

    M923A2 Doing 80 MPH!!

This would be all fluids the truck over not just the diffs. this would be performed by C&C who i hope have the most experience. i quite simply have a busy schedule and a job so i dont have the time to do the work myself unfortunately.

    M923A2 Doing 80 MPH!!

i'm not going to lie, i drove this without fluid changes, but i'm hoping to get the truck registered this week and will bring the truck to somebody to do a full fluid change on the truck. will cost me in the neighborhood of $1300...!!!

    M923A2 Doing 80 MPH!!

You are right. I don't do the extreme offloading that some guys do here. I did a pond 6 times and on my final pass the truck got bogged for 5 days until I could get it pulled out. I'm a newbie. Is there even anything I van do to improve turning radius even with 14.00's?

    M923A2 Doing 80 MPH!!

I'm just doing for the looks and height mostly :). Yes I'm only 23 and looks matter to me. Lol

    M923A2 Doing 80 MPH!!

Thanks for all the input guys. You agree the best! :D I'm new to MV's and want to buy more and certainly don't want to take away our privileges... I will upgrade my tires to the newest rubber I can get and I am a Michelin guy anyways, and then try to drive sanely ;)

    M923A2 Doing 80 MPH!!

I should have been clearer. C&C out of Indiana has "new" as in unused 16.00x20.00 for $550 per mounted tire and rim and will trade my mounted 14.00x20.00 for $300 each. My total investment being $250/tire...

    M923A2 Doing 80 MPH!!

I will just be sure to keep around 60 max, I guess the only real way to go faster safely is if you install semi truck duals and tires which would look hideous and be uses off road. Lol

    M923A2 Doing 80 MPH!!

I sure don't want to cause trouble, it's not my intention, but the highways all around are bumping speed limits to 70, and at a certain point driving too much slower than the rest of traffic can pose a danger as well... I know that I will be driving my truck 3 hours out of state to have work...

    M923A2 Doing 80 MPH!!

I'm just going off of the spec for "HWY" mode on the CTIS system... I believe it is 80 up front and 60 in the rear? I don't do a whole lot of highway at all, but am considering moving up to the 16.00x20.00 Michelin that is 53" tall. If I buy new "virgin" tires do you think that they can handle 70?
