Captain .. Way up here in the north ,i take the batteries out for winter!!!! And in the summer it saves washing the black carbon off the truck parked down wind. Anyone else puked the black stuff up on something parked near by???? Lets hear about your oop's on the car!!!!

keep the exhaust stack covered, saves the j pipe and keeps the fun of blowing black carbon water all over the car!!!! yes I have done it, now there covered , anyone else have a good stack full story
Yup in hi wind areas tie to the mirror frame great tip too. When cutting the neck of the jug make sure to leave 3/4 inch tab to make the lock part that bends to grip the stack. Either way you keep the water out and save the j pipe and you 200 bucks to replace it.

Just a tip on keeping the weather out of your exhaust system. Use a one gallon jug from washer fluid. Cut it out like this and pull down over the exhaust pipe, jug locks on tight ,handle makes for easy on and off.
