Evidently, having the vehicle registered and insured as a RECREATIONAL VEHICLE, which mine is, is enough to get the city Code Compliance off my back.

Unfortunately, Glendale city code is not cut and dry on this issue. It is very vague. If you follow the letter of the law for Glendale, it is against the law to even park a dually 1-ton in residential neighborhoods.
