    That's a different diagram than shown in my manual, dated 6/1/2011. Do you have a link to yours? (maybe dated 6/1/2016). This describes it but I couldn't find a download link.

    You were right per that note, that this is how they are. It has to be like that to route the (oil drain?) hose between the oil pan and bracket. I only found one drawing in tech manuals with the 90 degree fitting from engine (there could be more), but it doesn't seem to be the same setup as the...

    F.S.Kubota said this is 'normal' for all of these - I wasn't able to post a photo to his "PM" (pers msg?), and now can't even find it. It's an odd fabrication, but looks necessary to route this line.
