    Issues with SF-97

Did it have a VIN number listed on the BOS ? If it was sold in a sale with a HHA there is a paper trail back to the DOD that can be traced.

    Issues with SF-97

I would lean more towards the DOD providing states with that information. Also there will be records from any state that originally created a title from a SF-97 , of the original SF-97 in that states records . Just like tracking a manufacturer's "Certificate of Origin" back to the dealer that...

    Issues with SF-97

Back during the flood of deuces with GL EUC's were taking close to a year for some people.

    Issues with SF-97

There are several more layers of red tape to go through to export a EUC item and they have to go through a licensed exporter. They also must go through the original EUC process.

Battle Creek Mi is where the DLA processes the EUC's.

    Issues with SF-97

Don't forget all the lots of parts that require EUC sold each week by GL also are handled by this same office.

They move at the speed of government.

    Issues with SF-97

You are correct the sale dosen't take place until you are approved by the government to buy it , these are the governments rules not GP . GL is and always has had to follow the same rules with EUC's . In 2010-11 some EUC's were taking close to a year to get approved or denied . It is all part of...

I would also expect some employees in Battle Creek to be taking vacations in july/august since they are the two warmest months in Michigan and school is out for those employees with kids.

    Issues with SF-97

If they were sold with a EUC required , the government can pretty much do what it wants as they still control it.

Well lets look at some facts here from post #921. 1. Your in canada and have someone else applying for the EUC. ( This could be considered a shill buyer) 2. You are equipment buyers/sellers and deal in foreign countries. 3.It's not as you put it "just a off-road vehicle" , it is a DOD controlled...

    Issues with SF-97

So you don't think GP should have their costs covered because you want to break your contract ? They have costs involved in dealing with the sale and paperwork to the government ( which is where the delays are ) and every time you call complaining increases their costs as you are further...

    Issues with SF-97

It appears you are in canada , so are you having a exporter buying this for you ? Are you a U.S. citizen living in Canada ? your wanting to cross borders with it your creating a lot more red tape I don''t see how you can blame that on GP/IronPlanet.

    Issues with SF-97

You can't blame Gov Planet because Florida quit issuing titles due to some Florida buyers not wanting to follow the rules they agreed to when they bid on them.

    Keep waiting.

    Issues with SF-97

Option 3 ; Buy retail from someone who was willing to wait 4 to 7 months for the government to do the background checks on the buyer. Of course the seller is going to want a premium price for tying his money and dealing with the government paper work , he will also have to keep records of who it...
