    My New toy

After a lot of thought, I decided to ditch my Braden LU-4 and go with an electric winch. Variety of reasons, mostly cost prohibitive. I got a 12,000 LB Badlands winch for a good deal unopened off craigslist, for the amount I will use it it'll be perfect. Had a local welding shop (same one who...

    My New toy

Been awhile since the last post! Got the truck back from the body shop. Turned out great...still some things here and there to do (tailgate needs major help), also my new windshield frame is not on the truck yet. Ordered two NOS windshield assemblys from a supplier...one showed up cracked...

It actually came with the speedway wiring harness which I installed...just happened to work correctly. Now that you mention it, I've never actually seen a part # for one, always just looked up a sender for a chrysler 230 and grabbed what they had!

    My New toy

Been a little while since my last update! I've been driving her around on weekends, getting a lot of drive time locally. Last week, brought it up to my friend's shop, and the body work has begun! Tons of holes in the driver's side of the bed, I had him patch them all up except for the antenna...

Yeah I gotta put on a smaller belt, it's on my list of things to do! Any thoughts on the fan blade?

    My New toy

Took her out 4-wheeling for the first time today, went great! Can't stop smiling. Only issue that arose, was that after going through DEEP water, the fan belt slips and causes the truck temperature to raise up to about 230 from the usual 180. After a 5 minute cool down it goes back to a...

A couple more shots on my M-37 with the new tires. Also added two new red reflectors to the rear tailgate today, it really needed them to brighten up the rear at night time. The tires are 9.00x16 Power King Super Traction. Very happy with them so far. Did some testing, confirmed my blower motor...

    My New toy

It all came together today! Myself and 2 friends spent the afternoon/evening wrenching on the M-37 and got it complete! Removed old exhaust manifold, removed old manifold studs and mounting hardware. Installed new set of studs from VPW, using high-temp permatex thread sealant. New valve...

    My New toy

Today my girlfriend's brother helped me out by sandblasting some parts; I had him do the air cleaner support brackets and the intake manifold...they ended up beautiful. We can actually see the tooling marks from the factory. After painting we used a diamond hone to very gently love the gasket...

Picked up the carburetor from the re-build shop today. Came out looking brand new! Still awaiting my package from VPW with the manifold studs so that I can complete the project.

Yeah I just tried it out, it moves...although I can't say that I've ever changed it from summer to winter the whole time I've had the truck!
