Thanks for the offer.
But I have already built a set of more modern set of racks (fiberglass slats & 2.75" aluminum u-channel) and my rig came with a front frame.
So I am all set.

More measurements
Would someone want to post up some more measurements?
This time on the racks on the cargo section.
Are the two horizontals the same length?
From a 5T troop seat section it looks as though the uprights/stakes are 2.75"x1".
Thanks.
Tony
I found out why there has been such a flurry of Gama Goat activity this year.
How could 1,393,783,836 people be wrong?
Year of the Monkey begins in Feb. 2016, So all of you non-goat herders still have time...
So as to not hi-jack RICKSHAWSAUTO's Cargo Cover thread, I will post the cargo bow info up here.
m38inmaine is getting dimensions on the bows and a trace of the bend between the upright and the horizontal section.
He also mention the bow was made from 1-1/16" steel tubing, with the bottom...
Tf-9 6099
So does someone know where to find old military training films?
TF-9 6099 from 1978 would be nice to have in better condition.
But be careful if you watch it, as it contains some pretty suggestive sequences. :)
Thanks for the pics AMG.
And my 3-53, I am probably jinxing it for next time, is instant start with a push of the button.
Barring a dead or depleted 24 volts.
After I get back from more eye surgery. Now they are going to remove the cataract in the good eye, the left. The retina in the right is usable enough to get around with. Not enough to drive with it alone. But enough to lower the risk of total blindness if things go south on the left eye's...
Any one willing to take a picture of what they have for the transition between the back wall of the passenger compartment and where the engine compartment cover rests when closed.
With the arctic top on, there is a gap along where the two pieces meet. Giving me noise and engine smells into...
Well I got lucky and found one of the accessories I wanted for my goat.
The s250/g communigations shelter.
It was on about1.5 hour trip each way.
So I loaded up some straps and 1-1/4" pvc pipe and headed towards Ellensburg.
The shelter was on camper jacks and facing toward the road (that was...
I am trying to hook up a slave cable socket to the Gama Goat's electrical system.
Who can tell me the secret to removing the buss bar cover that is located below the radiator? I can reach the driver's side cut out in the cover. Got a 9/16 wrench on top of the lock. But I think the bolt is...
Well that made a world of difference. The new MC has stiffened up the brake peddle. I bled the rear and there was a bit resistance at the end of the peddle. The after bleeding the center the peddle became really hard. I will get to the fronts tomorrow.
I think I remember reading that the...
I too had soft brakes.
I had replaced the rubber lines, even having to remove the coil spring on the passenger rear for access.
I cleaned up the brake quick disconnects between the tractor and trailer.
None of it helped.
So I had the same master cylinder (MC) that you used sitting on the shelf...
Next it was time to shed the Search & Rescue roll bar. So I drove it into the pole barn, strapped the bar to the chain fall hanging from the reinforced truss overhead and raised the bar until it cleared the cab. Then backed the goat out of the pole barn. Then used the tractor to move the roll...
Since it is becoming all the rage, all the cool kids are doing it, and since the gama goat website doesn’t look like it will be revived any time some, let me post up my gama goat recovery.
I too have been enamored by the ugly mug of the gama goat, a mug that only certain ‘muthas’ could love...
