Was looking at it all backwards then. So how close is the front mount to the front of the frame? Or the small cross frame the tire carrier is on? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ronmar, On quick question. It looks like the front mount is 15” from something. What are you measuring from? How close is the front mount to the front of the subframe and how far is the rear from the back of the subframe? Thanks a bunch! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My only pictures I could find of an m1087 don’t show the mounts well, but there is a clear difference. here is the front mount: here you can see the rails seam to be on top of each other. Anyone have a better picture of the mounts?

I found a picture of an M820A2 I thought I would share here is the rear mount: and here is the front mount: They appear to be the standard fixed rear mount with spring front mount. Hardwood or something else is between the box frame and truck frame.

I would take that info too, but I think the 1087 would be the closest kin to my 1083. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Do you mind measuring the upper mounts so I can tell how to copy them? Probably will fabricate something similar in size. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

@Kieth_Knight gave me some measurements of his springs. I came up with this part number from his specs. This looks close to what you have Ron. Is this what you For my situation, I will have closer to 6” displacement (from other example trucks), so I am thinking I need a much smaller...

Also, do you have the steel thicknesses? I may copy part of the design…..I may make the pickets deeper since I will have much more travel on the rear ones. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes, exactly like that! So it looks like there are two cross bars on the frame near each mount. I am assuming this is only to keep the frames from rolling from the moment they see when the weight is on them. Ron, do you have the same info on the upper mounts as well? Sent from my iPhone...

Anyone have a picture of an M1079 with the box removed? Is the box mounted to the lower frame or is there an upper frame? If it uses an upper frame, is there any cross bars up there? Anyone have dimensions or drawings for the mounts? Looking at using a similar mount scheme on an m1083...
