    Clutch pictures Jed Here are the pics of the used clutch assy. I have here at the house. Other than some surface rust, this looks like a good useable assembly.

    You have the wrong pressure plate. There are no adjustments you can make to that. If the clutch fingers are hitting the the input shaft retainer, the pressure plate was made for a smaller diameter tranny input shaft. I'll measure my spare tonight and give you a call.

    You hit it on the head. Adjust the clutch rod to allow about 1 1/2" to 2" free play before the throwout bearing contacts the pressure plate fingers.
