    man that's a killer I cant think of what would do that, did you check the fuel filters? might not make a difference but I'd check them just in case, you need a way to check for vacuum but I cant remember how to do it let me get out the diesel book and see.

    you have a air leak in your fuel line some where start checking connections to make sure there tight.
