    Late model 6.5 waste gate?

    I would think that retaining the waste gate would allow you to tune the boost at the turbo instead of just the IP. More control always seems best. If it is not in the way then why not use it. I beleive you can remove it at a later date if it is not working they way you want it to. not a turbo...
