Straight vertical, it can be bolted right next to the side wall for better stiffness AND better clearance with the rest of the bed. 2.     What Clinto has is what I added to my Deuce too. I would LOVE to drop a spare $10K on the Palfinger K-Boom that White Owl has but....I don't have that kind of money just laying around. :(
