I have a dozen 9x20 tires mounted on Deuce wheels, I am just going to use them for the time being. Last time I looked at the correct tires they were a couple of time more than I paid for the truck!

I hope to have the same luck with mine, most of the parts are supposed to be off the shelf at least for the drive train. I have filled the engine with oil all the way to the top of the oil filler neck hopefully this help off set the thirty years or so it has been sitting out in the woods.

Mine hasn't run in 20 years everything is there including a broken off spark plug. Do a search on some English/British military forums, that's where I found most of the info on my truck. There is a bed for sale on one of the Idaho Craig's list. James

I have a WC52 in line for restoration but little knowledge of it. $2500 is going to be hard on the GTB I only paid $5-600 on mine but it was a deal, I would think it would move for $1500 or so. James

It's down the list for renovation, I am looking for parts right now, including a windshield and passenger seat. Is the GTB in your avatar on Craig's list? It looks really familiar!

MD308, thanks for the help but with tubes and flaps that's well over three times what I paid for the truck! I think my spare deuce tires will fine on it for now! It is a 1 1/2 ton truck, it was a little over my car hauler's limit but I never got over 45 miles an hour. I have wanted one...

I think the navy got most of them, both Navy trucks I have seen both had winches so I am not sure what the ratio of WW to WOW was. I have been looking for some 7.5x20 tires with no success, so I may put some 9x20 Deuce wheels and tires on her to see how it sits! James

Got her home with no complications, climbing the 11% plus grade to the cabin was sloooooow. James

Here is the possible parts source, I know it is within an hours or so drive, I just have to remember the right highway? The last two shots are of a truck I first tried to get, but the owner is just going to let it melt into the ground. It's been two years and I had given up looking but not...

Papabear: Are you pretty sure on the dimensions, that extra two inches will be a problem. The guy has two new commercial tires for the truck, I may have to use them on the front and put the deuce tires on the rear, if I can't get them to air up for the load and unload process. As for parts I...

Well I need to head over to the truck to spray a little SiliKroil on the some lug nuts, if the extra tire size doesn't put me over the 7 foot limit on the car hauler? But with four good tires on it I may be able to towbar it home? But, after sitting for 40 years the trailer may be the best...

Just a shot in the dark, the tires on the GTB are 7.5x20, could I mount 9x20 on those wheels or better yet I wonder if I could just bolt on deuce wheels and tires? If the bolt pattern is the same this would be easy! I think it is a six lug wheel? James

He took my offer, plus a hundred, so now I need to find a way to get it home! My car hauler has seven feet between wheel wells, I think if I pull the two rear tires it my just fit, at 7250 lbs it will be near the max on my car hauler and Armada, but it's only 26 miles and I have smooth little...

The truck is really pretty solid, one rust through in the bed wheel well, a gin pole attachment to remove, the passenger seat is missing, front blackout lights missing, winch guard cut, tow hooks missing and windshield missing. But it was running when it was parked!!!! in the early 1970's. James

I made my weekly call to the local Dial-A-Trade radio show and had a hit! Guy said he had a Burma Ford truck. He has no idea on the price, I am thinking $500. James
