    Yes, I torqued it to 60 lbs. The 5070 does look like rubber, but it also doesn't look like the right shape. To me it looks too tall and narrow. :sad:

    Of course, it was spotless. I don't see what the point would be to reinstall the same type of gasket that's currently leaking.

    I didn't spin the cans while I torqued them, I made sure to hold them so they wouldn't move. They weren't leaking at first, but started leaking after I accidentally revved the engine up while starting it. Later I accidentally revved the engine up again when starting it and now they are pouring.

    Could somebody please verify if the NAPA 5119 gaskets are rubber and not the thin rock hard pressed tar paper kind? The ones that came with the filters are leaking bad and I want rubber ones, like the military had on it. Thanks.
