    Sadly, no. These older units don't have an overdrive. The new computer controlled ones do though. Here are some data sheets on the ones that would work on your buildup.

    Ryan, go with an older pre-computer Alision like the MT600 series. The military used a lot of them. In fact I got one recently from GL auction for $200.00. You can adjust the shift points to any speed you want, plus there is no wiring needed !!! These units are really strong and also have lockup...

    Ryan123, what are the laws like there in Colorado about swapping in engines ? Do they require you to meet EPA standards ? Here in Washington we are required to meet EPA standards. Since the 2 stroke Detroits do not meet EPA standards you would not get it licensed here. I hope Colorado is different.
