I got into trouble with that years ago. I installed air-craft landing lights in the back of my 1972 Chevy truck. All I need do was flip the switch and POW ! I lite up the road behind me ! I only used it a few times on ass's who wouldn't turn off their high beams. Though the last time I did that...

WOW !!!! You have spent a pretty coin here on all that stuff !!!! I do like the idea of replacing all the torque rods though. So many people don't realize the effects just changing out one at a time does to the rest of the suspension. You must replace them in sets or don't replace them at all. I...

I was sweating buckets I can tell you and praying up a storm when I was doing this ! Thankfully I was able to get an easy-out in there and twist it out. I did NOT want to have to remove the injection pump just to replace a broken fitting !

I also had to replace the engine oil fitting. When I went to replace the hose the old brass fitting snapped off flush with the engine block ! So I replaced it with a stainless steel fitting. Now with the PTFE stainless steel hose and stainless steel fitting I shouldn't have to deal with these...

I went with some PTFE stainless steel hose just like the air lines and fuel hoses. The ends are just standard AN fittings.

That's another reason I attached my heater straight to the wall. No bracket to deal with !

If it doesn't go higher then I wouldn't worry about it.

Just for a good "torque multiplier" you will pay over $350.00 . For a great torque multiplier you will pay over $800.00 . I don't know the exact quality of this multiplier yet but I know the US military would not settle for junk, so it must at least be a good one.

Already bought mine from him ! Should arrive in a few days. The kicker for me was the "torque multiplier" . With that you can take off any bolt on this truck with that electric impact. Really guys this is a very sweet deal ! Having literally spent over $120,000 in tools for work I know a deal...

I was also thinking of doing that with mine. It's a good idea.

A diesel engine that is running properly will start at really low temps. It is the engine that has a couple of iffy injectors or slightly plugged filters or low compression or a bad starting system (cables bad, starter weak) etc. that will require a starting aid. I remember starting my tank at...

I totally agree ! I love Herculiner. I have used it for years on all my trucks and other equipment. If you use the Herculiner Sealer it will protect it from "UV" light damage.

One of the first lessons I learned in trade school was to look at just the part you are repairing. Don't let the complexity of the "whole" allow you to loose focus on the "here and now" . Once you learn about the individual parts you soon start to see how all the other systems interrelate with...

I have been working on my truck for years now replacing lines, rebuilding the whole brake system, rewiring the whole truck. It just seems like it will never end, but eventually I will have gone through the whole truck and I will know that it will work for me for years to come. Your doing the...

That's probably your problem, rusty bolts. The wrenches and sockets don't fit on them correctly anymore. You might have to get under them with some vise-grips or a chisel and hammer and bust them off.

Looking real good ! I'm going to copy you and paint my fender tops with Herculiner too. What a great idea ! No more slipping off the fender in the rain ! Keep up the good work !
