    I have found that "Rustoleum" rusty metal primer takes a whole lot longer to dry then regular primer does. I had some brackets that took 7 days to fully dry.

    There is no way to get the gasket under the pump without completely removing it. The gasket goes on from the bottom up. This way you can replace the hose and put on new stainless steel clamps.
