    It should work just fine. It is the total amount of cranking amps that you need to be concerned about not how many batteries you have. Just take the 12 volt lead of one battery and the 24volt lead off the two batteries connected in series.

    I love the Optima batteries ! The newer ones also eliminated the problem of the top "buss bar" corroding and then breaking under load. I still use the standard military batteries in my deuce since I got a good deal on them, but my CUCV uses the Optima.
