    Remote Brake Fluid Reservoir

    You need to use the "plate" that has two threaded holes for the reservoirs. It is used instead of the plastic housing. The standard "plastic" housing will not work. Here's a picture of mine.

    Take a sample of the brake fluid and try and add a drop of water to it. If it's DOT 5 then it will appear to puddle on top of the fluid. It will not mix. In DOT 3 the water will mix in.
