So after looking at the setup. The turbo is equal to an HX80. Which is double the volume of the HT3B most folks use.. The small cam doesn't have the air or ability to even spool it up. Its stupid overkill. Intercooler serves no purpose as no air can get across it. It probably builds 4lbs of...
Backing the screw out is how you get more boost.
If it has a steel ball in it then its set at stock. Rebuild places tend to use a nylon ball. 1/8" turn at a time till you get your gauge then you can back it however much you want and drive with your foot to control rail pressure
Because the aneroid does stupid things. Like the thread posted this morning. 6 months on a new pump and it sticks closed and basically you are basically stranded. Or it sticks half closed and you can't move but at a snails pace.
The amount of smoke on takeoff depends on your foot as well. Not...
If you are interested in 395s we have plenty. I'll be making a few more runs to Barstow over the next few weeks so they can ride cheap. No wheels though. @M35A2-AZ had some 5 ton combat wheels in the classifieds
Yes.
The a2s have an aftercooler. Not an intercooler.
Several of us have modified the RG31 MRAP aluminum radiator, oil cooler, and intercooler setup into the m939 trucks. Best parts for a solution and the price.
No. Ive got an ht3b in the box. Did a 500mi test run with it for $500 shipped. Holset factory rebuilt unit. I put it on in place of a 4LHR. I just found an ht4b a week later and went to that instead
There has to be a model number. If he didn't know that then he is talking crap. Or he was an idiot that thought any turbo would work. Cause um it has to be a reverse rotation turbo or it won't work on thr 855. Like a T46. T50. HT3B HT4B. 4LHR733
Primer isn't needed. It just fails and sucks air
Solenoid has a plug like shown below. Remove it and use hydraulic fittings. And hose and a liquid filled gauge
Probably. I have the radiator intercooler setup for the M939s. Ive done lots of mods to the small cam motors and driven one all over the country a few dozen times
