    Chuck, It's been a long time since I've followed this thread, I'm glad it came back up to the top again. Any line on price and availability on the fiberglass doors? I still might try and seperate the halves of mine and re-work them, like I spoke of in a previous post. :)

    Most 880 series ambulances seem to have the rear doors split, I think it's caused from trying to shut the doors with the steps out. Ours is the same way. I thought about drilling the rivets out, pulling the two shells apart, and re-enforcing the edge with some angle iron. If you have some ideas...

    Stripped or not, still a good save, especially for $1K. The Club I belong to has an 886 also, so we are always looking for parts & pieces. Photo attached.
