Just did a little more searching and found the actual stuff recommended in the MWO. It is Loctite Depend No-mix Adhesive: No Mix Adhesive Kit - Epoxy - Glues and Cements - 4KL14 : Grainger Industrial Supply It runs $40 per 25mL kit and the MWO says it takes 2 kits to do the front and rear belts.
Mark, this is the stuff I think I am going to use: NAPA AUTO PARTS It requires a cartridge gun to mix and dispense. Some are $$$, Grainger has one for $27 Applicator, Dual Cartridge Manual, 50mL - Epoxy Applicators - Dispensing Guns - 3EPT3 : Grainger Industrial Supply
Thanks John. That's what I figured after reading through the MWO. I found the 2-part adhesive through my local NAPA. I am going to use it since I will have my kids' seats buckled in with the belts. Can't be too careful with them.
Hi All,
I picked up a 3-point seat belt kit for my M998, but it didn't include the templates that are used to drill the holes in the body for all of the braces and brackets. Has anyone installed the belts without using the templates? It would seem that you could hold the brackets and braces...
