    Disc breaks anyone?

The guys here are much more civilized than on the pirate board. The work done on this truck build is great, the brake calipers are inadequate, they will work but the 4 piston caliper from the ford F650 2000 up would be much better.

Did you get those pci's i sent? I am like a dog paddling in deep water trying to come up with disc brakes on 5 ton. I found someone that does, BUT you do not use f550 calipers on a rotor and can it 5 ton brakes.

I gave and i gave to daniel little, he asked me what calipers i was using and i told him. He asked me how to make an axle 6x6 so i showed him what axles to use to make and mount a gear over box on. All back in 2000 and 2001, i told him to stop ripping people off with their credit card deposits...

There is someone that makes a 4.90 gear sets but by the time you do 3 chucks you have spent $5,700.00 for gear sets and labor. Most guys go to the 16.00 x 20 tires.

    Disc breaks anyone?

These adaptors are threaded and must be bolted on from the back side of the hub, there is no hub pilot for the wheel. This is your pic.

    Disc breaks anyone?

There is no 10 lug hub for the 2 1/2 ton, and if there was it would be an issue for a rotor to match that 10 on 11.25.

    Disc breaks anyone?

It is the same, you will need an adaptors to go from 6 on 8 3/4" to 10 on 11 1/4". Or cut the centers out and install 6 on 8 3/4" BP. How about the A3 wheel?

    Disc breaks anyone?

With the 20" rim there is all kinds of room, no problem. How about a new rear seal like a semi to run wet wheel bearings, no more leaks.
  17. steve6x6x6

    Disc breaks anyone?

Yes they will with 4 1/2" back space. That is with this setup.

    Disc breaks anyone?

You can use a torch to cut the revit heads off on the inside of the backing plate. I use a punch and 4 lbs. hammer and drive them out.
