There is enough room so long as there aren't 47 MVs parked in the spot. Even with Kenny on the end and my two canopies, tent, M101 and the winged Dodge there was still room on the other side for medical and the tribute tent in 2014 and space on the other side of it. If JP sets up to the left...
I can say from having experience with a military generator at a rally that it isn't quiet and you really need enough couple to run the thing at least 200 feet away.
We had complaints two years ago about a small civi generator running at night in the camping area.
As the "Air Boss" of the rally the two previous years I would like for everyone to pay particular attention to the rules on helmets. Durhamtown handed out a lifetime ban for an attendee for not following that rule and arguing the point.
They do make special allowances for the rally but there...
