    Hey Mike, thanks for sharing! I had an SP-600 for a while and it was, indeed, a nice receiver. The R-390A probably out performed it but the dial tuning on the SP-600 was SO smooth. I am also a fan of the PRC-74 transceivers and would probably have snatched that one up LOL. Bob WB4ETT
