LDT465 powered rat rod
Really interesting. I've been google searching military truck and semi rat rods for some time. The 8.3T with Alison would seem to make a fine start on a rod. Not necessarily for the front drive, but keep transfer case as an overdrive? (edit...that does not make sense when lowering a lot.)- tobyS

Our Interceptor with the 4.6 was a very good performing car. It might be a bit soft for that much weight. Have you had it on a scale drjosjam, measuring the front and rear individually? That might give you a comparison.- tobyS

Oh, yeh!! I looked at google images and saw it. I was suggesting similar (personally I like the single rear) but with 5T donor (not axles or transfer case). I have 14.00 NDCC in the same style tires (and MRAP wheels). How low can it go???- tobyS

Reviewing rods...any updates to yours? Would like to see that front end installed. I bought a frame section from Lincoln that had air bags...same as CV. How about a 931 made into one?- tobyS
