I would love to go as well. Went in 92 and I imagine a lot has changed on the AlCan since then. My project skill level and speed is fairly low and slow. I doubt if I will be road worthy by next summer. Love to see pics If I can't go though.
"Boy Howdy Roy" can I relate. We just got hit with a blizzard and got 3 feet of heavy damp snow. Drive way is about half a mile from the county road. Been digging out the last two days and have one to go. What would life be without interruptions to your plans. Gotta chuckle.
Do you have a bumper step out of sight? looks like quite a first step to get up there, at least for my scrawny legs.
Looks like ditch lights just behind the cab at the bottom of the bed. Or is that more of a work light?
Very professional job. I like how you cut out around the other mounting tabs and the access door. Even spacing between panels. more room to stand on the bumper without your toes getting caught up or slipping off is a real plus. I always like your builds.
I like the "Frenched" roller fairlead. Are you going with a military style chain lead on the end of the cable or make everything so it tucks up behind the bumper face when traveling?
