    The only other data numbers other than data plates are the Budd plate, that is located under the hood on the firewall right behind the valve cover. Tho it may not be there, some are known to be missing. Post some pics when you get a chance. You may need to pull the trans cover...

    Bad ground somewhere. I have had that happen before, just not enough to turn it over. Clean the cables and try it again. There should be no other cut off other than ignition. Join the www.g838.org Nothin but mutt owners, I included!!
