Wreckerman and Elmo on the move

I can assure you that the vehicles pictured in the thread are a drop in the bucket compared to what is housed in the compound. I thought I was a Green Iron Addict but I am not in the race with Ziggy. The zombies have no chance in his AO.

Wreckerman and Elmo on the move

ZiggyO is still otherwise engaged in moving bag and baggage from Jersey to the new LZ.....once he gets a breather I'm sure he'll post a narrative for all to enjoy.

Wreckerman and Elmo on the move

I have to take the blame for that indignity.....I asked Ziggy to get a big cooler so we could have cold drinks and water available when we got to rest stops. The Suburban was loaded to the gills in the back and the front seat was the only place it would fit.....since GIP is so petite she was...

This is coming from one guy that was a road guard when Moses parted the Red Sea and the other that was Loadmaster for Noah's Arc. :-P :-P

Wreckerman and Elmo on the move

The mission went mostly as planned....early on we had some tire issues that cost us time and milage the first day. The vehicles performed almost flawlessly...only had to change fuel filters on the deuce one time. The M915's ran great and held speed when needed......I didn't keep close track of...

Wreckerman and Elmo on the move

Well....me and Elmo made it back to the LZ unscathed. Elmo made friends with one of the Delta flight attendents on the way back. He rode from Memphis to Birmingham with her in the galley. I can neither confirm nor deny that he joined the "Mile High Club". I do know when he rejoined me he...

Wreckerman and Elmo on the move

I'm sorry to report that Elmo is still up to his wicked ways with his rubber mistress....they were caught in the act twice.....once outdoors in the tall green grass of home. And them again romping in the love shack. You just can't make anything else out of Elmo.....he is after all a wild animal.

Wreckerman and Elmo on the move

Well we have made it to the Promised Land. We are at ZiggyO's new LZ herefor to be known as Area 52...located somewhere in Nebraska. Todays journey was uneventful except for some rain. The Wild Bunch made it to the LZ tired but still enthusiastic and added the convoy to the ecclectic...

Wreckerman and Elmo on the move

Welcome to another episode of "Where the Possum Turns". Today we made it into Iowa....we stopped at the Iowa 80 (the largest Truckstop in the world). Had a decent meal and did a little sightseeing. Murphy was conspicious by his absence today......we made good progress and the trucks are...

Murphy only reared his ugly head once today.....someone locked...
