The older 5 tons had NDT's......later the military left it up to the Motor Sergeants as to which vehicles got newer style tires. I have bought deuces with 1100x20 radial tires on them.

1100x20 tires.....they came on the 5 ton trucks......900x20's came on the deuce but they both use 20 inch rims......you can put the 1100x20's on a deuce and gain some top end or a smidge of fuel milage.
