    I put my MX-7777 on the hump as well. However, I had to chisel out about 1/2" half-moon shape out of the bottom the seat to accomodate the power plug.

    Ahh, going to leave us hanging Matt? I was going to put my AM-1780 in the same place as you but I acquired an M66 reinforcement plate for the '68. Hmm not sure where I'm going to put it now. May need to fabricate a bracket to have it sit just above the bench seat back.

    OK, I haven't seen the MX-6707 hooked up to an R-442a/VRC just yet. I'm use to seeing the AB-15 w/MS-116a, MS117a, and the MS118a used.

    Should you decide to buy one, it is a GRC based power cord rather than a VRC based one.

    Looks good Matt, I've held off on doing the '68 b/c it too is a soft top. I couldn't figure out where to mount everything. Good idea of mounting it behind the bench
